In 2017, this wine was a four-barrel blend of primarily high-acid non-dijon clones, with a smaller percentage of our fleshier dijon selections. After direct pressing, the juice was blended, and barreled down. They fermented and aged for 18 months in 50% first and second fill oak barrels and 50% neutral. The wine is stellar. Laser focused on the palate with acid and salinity. The aromatics sing with fruit and oak working in balanced synergy. On our site, chardonnay yields one of the most expressive and impressive wines in any given vintage.
